Overrun with overgrowth

The Lib Dems are demanding the city and county councils take action to clear the backlog of tree pruning and other environmental work.

In Quedgeley, many pathways are being encroached by trees and bushes in desperate need of cutting back with some pathways becoming difficult if not impossible to walk down.

In Lilac way the path which runs along the back of beech green school (shown above) is completely overrun with overgrowth.

But it’s not just pathways, on Elmore Lane East this sign attached to a lampost is hidden inside a hedge. All that can be seen is a small part of the light poking out.

It really is ludicrous the amount of overgrowth that has not been tackled in Quedgeley, we are becoming truly overrun with overgrowth.

These are just a few examples of the areas I’ve asked the council to cut back recently. If you know of any other areas in need of attention please get in touch.
